"We," "us," and "our" refer to Marek Ohanka. "You" or "client" refers to the person booking the tour.

Welcome to mara-tour.com. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services and website. By booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Booking: All bookings must be made through our website, www.mara-tour.com. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us.

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on the tour. We accept payments by credit/debit card. All prices are listed in EUR and include all taxes.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

More than 48 hours before the tour: If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, you are entitled to a full refund.

Within 48 hours of the tour: If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, or if you fail to show up, no refund will be issued.

We reserve the right to cancel a tour under certain circumstances.

Weather conditions: Your safety is our top priority. If we have to cancel a tour due to unsafe weather (e.g. heavy storms, extreme winds, flash floods), you will be offered the choice of rescheduling for a different date or receiving a full refund.

Other unforeseen circumstances: We may also cancel a tour due to other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that prevent the tour from taking place (e.g. trail closures, guide illness). In such cases you will also be offered the choice of rescheduling or receiving a full refund.

All refunds will be processed back to the original credit or debit card used for the booking. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Health and fitness: You are responsible for ensuring that you are in good health and have an appropriate level of fitness for the tour you have booked. Each tour listing on mara-tour.com states its difficulty rating; please consult a doctor before booking if you are unsure whether the activity is suitable for you. You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements at the time of booking.

Equipment and clothing: You are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and footwear for hiking in changeable Central European weather. We provide a "What to bring" list with each tour — please read it before arriving.

Conduct: You agree to follow the guide's instructions throughout the tour, respect the natural environment, stay on marked trails, and behave in a way that does not endanger yourself, other participants, or third parties.

Punctuality: You agree to arrive at the meeting point on time. We cannot wait for late arrivals beyond a reasonable grace period, and a no-show is treated as a within-48-hour cancellation (see section 4).

Hiking in sandstone rock formations and mountainous terrain carries inherent risks. We take every reasonable precaution to keep tours safe, but you participate at your own risk. We are not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal belongings except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

We strongly recommend that you arrange your own travel and accident insurance covering the activities included in the tour before arriving in Czechia.

During tours we may take photographs or short video clips for marketing on mara-tour.com, social media, and other promotional materials. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please let your guide know at the start of the tour and we will respect your request.

We process the personal data you provide during booking (name, email, phone) solely for the purpose of arranging and delivering the tour and communicating with you about your booking. We do not sell your data to third parties.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@mara-tour.com. Data processing is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Czech law.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. Material changes will be announced on this page; the date at the top reflects the latest version.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be addressed in good faith through direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Czech Republic.

As a consumer based in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
